Apple has updated the list of obsolete and vintage devices, and this time only one device made the list.
What is known
Apple has recognized the first generation iPhone SE, which was released in 2016, as obsolete.
This model has not been sold since 2018, and according to Apple’s rules, the company no longer provides service for it, does not require this from its partners, and does not sell components for it.
Nothing has changed in the list of vintage gadgets.
Recall, Apple’s list of vintage devices includes gadgets that were removed from sales five or more years ago, and in the obsolete category after seven years, they are no longer subject to repair.
