Nubia Flip3 Announced — Affordable Foldable Smartphone with Larger External Screen and Improved Cameras
At the same time as the Nubia Fold introduced - the brand's first foldable smartphone with a record battery for similar devices, the popular brand Nubia also announced a new Flip model, which will interest those looking for a compact and budget-friendly gadget.
What is known
The Nubia Flip3 features a modern design, a larger external screen, and improved cameras.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.9” internal OLED display with a resolution of 2790 × 1188 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Outside, there is a 4” AMOLED screen (1200 × 1092 pixels) that covers almost the entire surface of the case cover (except for the camera cutouts) and allows for convenient smartphone use without unfolding.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, complemented with 6 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of built-in storage. The smartphone runs on Android 15. The cameras include a 50 MP main module, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and a 32 MP front camera.
The Nubia Flip3 has a battery capacity of 4610 mAh with fast charging support. The body is protected according to the IP54 standard.
The thickness of the Nubia Flip3 in the unfolded state is only 7.5 mm, and the weight is 187 g.
Sales of the Nubia Flip3 will start in Japan in mid-January 2026. The price has not yet been announced, but based on the declared characteristics, it can be expected that the smartphone will be quite budget-friendly.
