Fallout 76 has received a major free update Burning Springs — gamers can now head to Ohio, meet the Ghoul and defeat the super mutant dictator
Bethesda has released a major free update Burning Springs for Fallout 76 — the initially failed online game that, thanks to competent support, is becoming more popular each year.
What is known
In Burning Springs, gamers are offered the largest map expansion in the history of Fallout 76, players have the opportunity to travel to the state of Ohio, on foot, not through a loading screen as before. The new region includes new quests, enemies, world bosses, and unique factions, players will encounter sentient super mutants, tamed armored Deathclaws, and even a radioactive boar. Interestingly, the main antagonist of the new storyline is the Rust King — a sentient super mutant with dictatorial aspirations.

But the main highlight of the update is undoubtedly the Ghoul — the central character of the Fallout series played by Walton Goggins. The developers of Fallout 76 aim to delve deeper into the Ghoul's backstory and character, and for completing his quest chain, players will receive the charismatic character's weapon. Additionally, the Ghoul will offer a new activity — “Bounty Hunting.”
Simultaneously with the release of Burning Springs, the 23rd season called Blood x Rust has started in Fallout 76. It will offer gamers new rewards, including raider workbenches, cosmetic items in the style of the iconic Fallout: New Vegas, and much more.
Of course, Bethesda has also fixed a number of bugs, and the full list of changes can be found on the studio's website.
