In China, the gaming sub-flagship OnePlus Ace 6T debuted with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and an 8300 mAh battery
OnePlus held a presentation in China for the gaming sub-flagship smartphone Ace 6T, which, as is already known, will be released on the global market as the OnePlus 15R.
What is known
The OnePlus Ace 6T became the first device based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The smartphone features a 6.83” LTPS OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. To reduce eye strain, it uses 3840 Hz PWM adjustment.
The main feature of the model is an 8300 mAh battery with Glacier Battery technology. It supports 100W SuperVOOC Flash Charge fast charging, allowing the charge to be replenished in the shortest time possible.
The Ace 6T camera unit includes a 50 MP main module with optical stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32 MP Sony IMX front camera.
The smartphone has a large set of protection ratings - IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, which are not often found even in expensive models, and it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB-C 2.0, NFC.
The OnePlus Ace 6T is equipped with an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint scanner and Aqua Touch 2.0 mode, which allows the device to be operated even with wet hands.
Immediately after the presentation, sales of the device began, but so far only in China, since the Official: global presentation of OnePlus 15R will be held on December 17 — this is the first smartphone in the world market with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, along with the Pad Go 2 tablet and OnePlus Watch Lite smartwatches.
The smartphone will be available in three colors.
The price of the OnePlus Ace 6T starts at $340 for the 12/256 GB version and reaches $525 for the top configuration of 16 GB/1 TB.
