Confirmed: Xiaomi is ready to release its first Trifold smartphone
The trend for Trifold smartphones is gradually gaining momentum: Huawei already offers two such models, and next week a similar gadget from Samsung will debut in Korea.
Of course, other tech giants cannot stay away, and confirmation has already appeared that Xiaomi will soon present its dual-fold smartphone.
What is known
A certificate has been found in the database of the international organization Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) issued to a model with the number 2608BPX34C. This designation hides an ambitious device from Xiaomi, which may be called Mix Trifold.
Such certificates are issued when a device is ready for release, so a presentation from the Chinese brand may take place soon.
Earlier, there were several rumors about such a gadget, according to which the novelty will debut in the third quarter of 2026 and receive top-notch features, with the Snapdragon 8 series chipset as the basis of the smartphone.
