Samsung released an unboxing video of the Galaxy Z TriFold

However, now the Korean manufacturer has shown the unboxing of its first dual-fold smartphone, and this video answers a number of questions.
What's known
So, Samsung confirmed that for the first time among its foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z TriFold package will include a 45W charger and a USB-C/USB-C cable.
In addition, buyers will receive a Carbon Shield Case protective cover, a SIM card ejector pin, and device documentation.

In the unboxing video, Samsung also showed the design of the Galaxy Z TriFold from all sides, separately highlighting that the smartphone supports multi-window mode and instantly switches to the DeX interface, which allows you to use the gadget as a mini PC.
For those who are not aware
The new Samsung turns from a compact smartphone into a full-fledged tablet with a 10” AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2160×1584 and a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In the folded state, an exterior 6.5” OLED display with a usual 21:9 format is available.
Each of the three TriFold panels has a different thickness — from 3.9 to 4.2 mm. When folded, the smartphone has a thickness of 12.9 mm, while the Mate XT is 12.8 mm. And the Samsung smartphone weighs 309 grams, which is 11 grams heavier than the comparable device from Huawei.
The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite (for Galaxy) chipset (not Gen 5!) and has up to 16 GB of RAM. The 5600 mAh battery supports fast charging at 45W.
The Galaxy Z TriFold features the following camera set:
- main sensor 200 MP, ƒ/1.7;
- wide-angle lens 12 MP;
- telephoto lens 10 MP with triple optical zoom;
- two front cameras 10 MP (on the outer and inner display).
The body protection corresponds to the IP48 standard, and the new Armor FlexHinge provides structural durability. Additional warnings about the incorrect assembly of the device are provided.
When to expect
Galaxy Z TriFold will go on sale in Korea on December 12, and in China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UAE, it will appear at the end of this month.
