MSI has introduced the new gaming monitor MAG 274QP X24 for the North American market - a more affordable option in the Gen 3 QD-OLED lineup. The model features a 27-inch Samsung Display panel with a 2.5K (1440p) resolution and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. It's the same type of matrix as in the MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 and MAG 271QP X24.

What is known

The MAG 274QP X24 offers 200 nits in SDR mode and 400 nits in HDR, while other models in the series offer brightness of 250 and 450 nits respectively. At the same time, the monitor retains key advantages of OLED technology: response time of 0.03 ms GtG, VESA ClearMR 13000 certification, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and precise factory calibration with ΔE ≤2.

The model supports Adaptive Sync and has special modes for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. Available interfaces include DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, but there is no USB hub.

In the US, the price of the novelty is set at $500, although it is not yet available in the official MSI store. The model is also temporarily unavailable on Amazon and Newegg. However, at Best Buy Canada, the monitor is available for order at 549 Canadian dollars, which is approximately 397 US dollars.
