Galaxy A56 broke into the top 10 most popular smartphones in the world along with A36
Samsung and Apple continue to lead the global smartphone market and by the third quarter of 2025, each company was able to bring five models into the world's top 10 sales. Among them is the Galaxy A56, which made the list for the first time and ranked eighth. It was even surpassed by the Galaxy A36, which took the seventh position.

Although the Galaxy A56 is a typical mid-range Samsung smartphone, this year users recognized it as the best in terms of price and functionality. According to Counterpoint Research, both the A56 and A36 models received a successful update. Their popularity could be driven by features such as Awesome Intelligence, Best Face, and improved Nightography.
Meanwhile, the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra has lost its position. If in the first half of the year it was still among the top ten leaders, in the third quarter it was pushed out by more affordable models. However, Samsung's overall presence in the list even increased. Thanks to separate sales accounting of the Galaxy A16 4G and A16 5G, the brand gained an additional position among the most popular models.
