Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora received the largest update with a third-person view and 'New Game+'
Two years after the release of the adventure action game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ubisoft and the Massive Entertainment studio have released the largest update that will significantly change the game.
What is known
As announced, the main feature of the update, timed to coincide with the upcoming premiere of the film “Avatar: Fire and Ashes,” is the appearance of a third-person view, which significantly enhanced the overall cinematic experience of Frontiers of Pandora. This feature is optional, and the authors had to change animations, controls, camera behavior, and some other game systems to implement it. Players can switch between third-person or first-person views at any point during gameplay.
The second important innovation is the “New Game+” mode, which allows players to replay Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, retaining already acquired equipment and hero abilities. In this mode, enemies become stronger, increasing the overall difficulty, but the player also receives more powerful weapons, and an additional character development branch is unlocked.
The update is available for free on all platforms — PC (Steam, EGS, Ubisoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
