The humanoid robot Optimus found itself in another scandal, which once again confirmed that it is not ready for autonomous operation, and at public events, its actions are controlled by operators.

What is known

Tesla held a private event in Miami where they demonstrated the capabilities of the Optimus robot and new Tesla technologies, but, as often happens with Elon Musk's company, something went wrong.

The Optimus robot was handing out water to guests and posing for photographs, but at some point, it fell on its back, after making a strange movement: the robot raised its hands to its head as if trying to remove a VR headset, after which the fall occurred.

Thus, it's easy to guess that the robot's actions were remotely controlled by an operator who wanted to take a break and probably forgot to disconnect the controller before removing the headset, and Optimus repeated the movement.

Tesla does not comment on what happened, but the video eloquently shows everything:

Experts have long had doubts about the autonomy of Optimus, and the incident in Miami became further proof of their correctness.

However, Optimus’ fall can't compare Boston Dynamics is tense, Optimus is panicking! Russian engineers presented the humanoid robot AIDOL — this is a must-see....
