On Monday, December 8, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket conducted its record-setting 32nd flight. During the mission, another 29 Starlink satellites were delivered to orbit. The launch took place at 5:26 PM Eastern Time (10:26 PM GMT December 8) from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

What is known

The first stage of the rocket, known as Booster 1067, landed on the autonomous drone ship "Just Read the Instructions" in the Atlantic Ocean after approximately two and a half minutes of flight. This marks the 32nd landing of the B1067 first stage, setting a record among SpaceX's reusable rockets. It previously conducted Crew-3, Crew-4, CRS-22, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G missions, as well as 19 Starlink launches.

The second stage of Falcon 9 continued its ascent, and after a short pause and reignition of the Merlin engine, placed the Starlink 6-92 satellite group into low-Earth orbit approximately an hour after launch.

This launch was the 158th for Falcon 9 in 2025, and overall the first stage has been reused 510 times since 2017. On the eve of December 7, SpaceX launched another 29 devices from Vandenberg Base in California. The Starlink network has over 9100 active satellites.
