11 bit studios released a major free update for one of the most unusual and creative games of 2025, The Alters.

The update is already available on all platforms and offers gamers a wide range of innovations.
Players can now build a gaming room at the base to relieve stress for the alters. A new card mini-game has also been added to enhance team spirit among Janos.
The developers have added customizable skins for the base and the main character's spacesuit, implemented an advanced photo mode, and reworked the save system to allow players to better control their progress.
The Alters now includes a minimal difficulty mode, allowing players to immerse themselves in the story and narrative without needing to delve into the gameplay mechanics. A pleasant bonus is the addition of another storyline stylized as a noir detective.
