Honor introduced the Magic 8 Lite smartphone, which will become the most affordable representative of the new Magic 8 photo flagship series.

What's known

The novelty received a 6.79” OLED display with a resolution of 1200×2640 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and support for PWM dimming at 3840 Hz, which reduces eye strain. The peak brightness reaches 6000 nits in HDR mode—this makes the screen readable even in bright sunlight.

The smartphone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, supplemented with 8/12 GB of RAM and a 256/512 GB storage.

The Magic 8 Lite comes with pre-installed MagicOS 9 based on Android 15.

The main camera includes a 108 MP sensor with optical stabilization support and an additional 5 MP ultra-wide module. A 16 MP front camera is provided for selfies.

The main feature of the Magic 8 Lite is its 7500 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can withstand drops from a height of up to 2.5 meters and water submersion thanks to IP68/IP69K protection.

The device dimensions are 161.9 × 76.1 × 7.8 mm, weight — 193 g. Three colors are available: green, red, and black.
