CD Projekt Red celebrates the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077 — a special trailer of the legendary game is presented
Exactly five years ago — on December 10, 2020 — the long-awaited release of Cyberpunk 2077 took place.
There were many loud promises from the developers, and not all of them were fulfilled. Indeed, the fiasco that awaited CD Projekt Red at the game's release is hard to remember in the industry's history.
But the developers spent several years, about $200 million, a huge amount of nerves and effort, and as a result, Cyberpunk 2077 is now a game that has attracted over 35 million players and still retains its popularity.
CD Projekt released an atmospheric trailer called "City of Legends," which beautifully showcased key scenes and central characters of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion.
The Polish developers are grateful to the public for their support and forgiving their mistakes. At present, CD Projekt is actively working on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 — there is no information about the game yet, and its release is expected no earlier than 2030. But gamers are willing to wait patiently, just to get a top-class game, and the wait can be brightened by a card game, CD Projekt RED announced a trading card game based on the Cyberpunk universe.
