Eight "AI Architects" Named "Person of the Year" by Time Magazine
Time magazine named the "Person of the Year," and it's not Donald Trump, as he would undoubtedly like it to be, but a large group of people whom the authoritative publication aptly called "AI Architects."
Time placed an image of "AI Architects" on the cover of the latest issue, reminiscent of the famous "Lunch atop a Skyscraper" photograph, but now instead of the Rockefeller Center workers, billionaires are sitting there:
- Jensen Huang — Nvidia
- Sam Altman — OpenAI
- Mark Zuckerberg — Meta
- Elon Musk — X
- Lisa Su — AMD
- Demis Hassabis — Google DeepMind
- Dario Amodei — Anthropic
- Fei-Fei Li — ImageNet.
Behind each name in this list is a company that is, without exaggeration, creating the future of humanity, whatever it may be. Heated debates continue around artificial intelligence, companies want to integrate it into all work processes to significantly improve efficiency, but this may leave millions of people without jobs, which will inevitably lead to civil unrest. In short, AI is a huge unexplored space, and it depends on the people listed above where it will lead.
