Google announced a new experimental web browser called Disco, which focuses on AI integration in the page viewing process. The first feature of the browser is GenTabs – widgets created based on open tabs, chat history, and user queries.

What is known

GenTabs is based on the Gemini 3 language model and can transform browser sessions into separate interactive screens. For example, the tool can structure travel ideas in one window or create visual explanations of complex topics, including scientific concepts. Users can refine and modify GenTabs using natural language queries, and the system will offer contextual additions. All information in the widgets is accompanied by links to sources.

Currently, Disco is available only for macOS and is distributed through a waiting list. Google notes that the project is of an early experimental nature, so some features may work unstably.
