New G-Shock now available in Europe: Casio expands sales of GMW-BZ5000GD-9 model
Casio has officially launched the new G-Shock GMW-BZ5000GD-9 watch in a number of European countries. This is one of the three models in the GMW-BZ5000 series, which previously debuted in Japan and the USA. The gadget is now available in Casio's official online store in the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany.
What is known
The GMW-BZ5000GD-9 model features a gold color, an ion-plated case, and a stainless steel bracelet. The new design is aimed at enhancing shock resistance while maintaining the classic G-Shock appearance. The centerpiece of the device is a high-contrast MIP LCD display with a light background and dark symbols. Users can choose between Standard and Classic styles and change the appearance using four available layouts.
The watch supports Multiband 6, has Bluetooth, and synchronizes with the Casio Watches app for automatic time updates. It also includes a timer, stopwatch, alarms, and world time support. Power is provided by a solar battery, water resistance is up to 200 meters.
It is expected that two models, GMW-BZ5000D-1 for 600 euros and GMW-BZ5000BD-1 for 650 euros, will appear in Europe by the end of December 2025.
