Today, sales of the Galaxy Z TriFold — Samsung's first dual-folding smartphone — began in South Korea. It was obvious that the novelty would attract great interest from buyers, but perhaps even the manufacturer did not expect such success.

What's interesting

Media reports that huge lines formed in front of the company's stores in Seoul, and the first batch of smartphones was sold out in the shortest possible time. The first lucky owner of the Galaxy Z TriFold, whose name is not revealed, spent more than a day at the store doors despite the cold weather!

Finally, the official price of the gadget has become known — as expected, it is $2400 (converted from won) for the model with 512 GB of memory.

All the technical details of the Galaxy Z TriFold can be found in our material, and here we remind you that Samsung's novelty in the folded state has an external 6.5” OLED display, which unfolds into a full-fledged tablet with a 10” AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2160×1584 and a variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz.

By the end of December, the Galaxy Z TriFold will be on sale in China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UAE, and at the beginning of January it will reach the USA.
