Samsung has released a new 60W power adapter, which will become a key accessory for future Galaxy flagships. The device is already on sale in Europe, South America, and the Middle East, and its release is directly related to the preparation for the launch of the Galaxy S26 Ultra — the company's first smartphone with support for charging over 45W.

What is known

The adapter, with the code name EP‑T6010NBEGWW, is equipped with one USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0, USB Power Delivery, and PPS technologies. It can deliver up to 60W of power at a voltage of 5–20V and a current of up to 3A. In standby mode, the device consumes only 5mW, making it energy-efficient and safe for continuous use.

The new adapter is compatible not only with Galaxy smartphones but also with tablets, Galaxy Book laptops, and accessories. For tablets, the limitation remains at 45W for now, but it is expected that the future Galaxy Tab S12 lineup will support higher power.

The price of the adapter in Europe is about €53.

Many users criticized Samsung for not increasing the charging speed of its flagships, and the release of the Samsung 60W Power Adapter was a response to these complaints.
