Vivo has announced the Vivo S50 smartphone, which has become the most technological device in the history of the S series, providing the perfect balance of affordability, excellent performance, and elegant design.

What's Known

The novelty features a 6.59" AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage.

The main camera has a 50MP sensor, complemented by an 8MP wide-angle module and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The front camera also has a resolution of 50MP, making the smartphone appealing to selfie and video call enthusiasts.

The 6500mAh battery supports fast charging at 90W, and the device's body is protected to the IP69 standard. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen, and the software runs on Android 16 with the proprietary OriginOS 6 interface.

The design of the Vivo S50 is made in a premium style: aerospace-grade aluminum alloy body in four color options — Confession White, Inspirational Purple, Space Black, and Serene Blue.

The cost of the smartphone in China starts at $425 for the basic configuration and reaches $510 for the 16/512GB model.

The global release dates are still unknown.
