Almost unchanged, but with a larger battery: Motorola introduced the budget smartphone Moto G Power (2026)
Motorola introduced the Moto G Power (2026) — a mid-range smartphone traditionally focusing on autonomy and practicality. In this new version, the company has enhanced the emphasis on the durability of the case and protection against water and dust while maintaining an affordable price and the usual balance of features.
What is known
Moto G Power (2026) received a 6.8” LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a brightness of up to 1000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, reliably guarding against scratches and impacts. Performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, supplemented by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. These are not top-notch characteristics, but they are quite sufficient for everyday tasks.
The main 50 MP camera is equipped with a Quad Pixel system and optical stabilization, complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide module and a macro lens. The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP, significantly improving the quality of selfies and video calls.
The main focus is on the battery: the capacity is increased to 5200 mAh, with support for fast TurboPower 30W charging.
The case is certified according to IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H standards, ensuring protection against water, dust, drops, and enduring extreme conditions.
The smartphone runs on Android 16, equipped with stereo speakers, and is available in two colors — Evening Blue and Pure Cashmere.
Moto G Power (2026) will be released on January 8, 2026, initially only in the US at a price of $299.99 and in Canada for CAD 449.99. A global release is expected later.
