Volkswagen reveals ID.Unyx 08 features: range up to 730 km
Volkswagen China shared new details about the all-electric crossover ID.Unyx 08. Battery capacity figures and range according to the Chinese CLTC test cycle have been revealed.
What's Known
ID.Unyx 08 will have single-motor and all-wheel-drive versions, as well as two battery options to choose from: 82.368 kWh and 95.04 kWh, providing a range of 630 km, 700 km, and 730 km according to the CLTC cycle. The car will also be equipped with a charging system with an operating voltage of 800 V and an advanced L2++ driver assistance system.
The length of the car is 5000 mm, width is 1954 mm, height is 1672 mm or 1688 mm depending on the configuration. The wheelbase is 3030 mm.
An artificial intelligence-based assistant will also be integrated into the car's onboard system. Software updates will be applied "over the air" (OTA).
More information on the VW ID.Unyx 08 will appear closer to the start of sales in 2026.
According to Volkswagen China, more than 20 electrified models will be launched by 2027. By 2030, the fully electric vehicle lineup will expand to approximately 30 models across various classes.
