Insider: Unnamed Call of Duty Game Set to Release on Nintendo Switch Soon - First Port 'Almost Ready'
Back in 2023, Microsoft announced big plans for porting the Phil Spencer: Call of Duty will work fine on Nintendo Switch, but in a slightly different way, but not a single shooter has been released on the hybrid console yet. Activision remains silent, but a reputable insider has reported that big announcements are imminent.
What is known
Windows Central editor Jez Corden reported that the first Call of Duty port for the Nintendo Switch is 'almost ready'.
He expects the game to release in a few months, but it shouldn't be expected at the very beginning of the year.
The first CoD Switch version is nearly done and launching in a few months

Corden did not clarify which Call of Duty installment would be ported first, but noted that the huge delay is due to a common problem — Nintendo, for unclear reasons, does not provide partners with devkits (working prototypes) of the Switch, which greatly complicates porting work.
