The first information appeared online about the new Oppo tablet, which will be named Pad Air 5.

The Chinese company has published only a teaser, from which it is clear that the tablet will have a 12.1” screen with 2.8K resolution and brightness up to 900 nits. The gadget presentation will take place on December 25.

What is known

Most likely, the Oppo Pad Air 5 will be an exact copy of the The affordable OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet debuts on the global market with an unusual aspect ratio and a 10,000 mAh battery a few days ago. Based on this, Gizmochina makes a well-founded assumption that the novelty will feature the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, like the OnePlus Pad Go 2, and will have the same unusual aspect ratio of 7:5.

Probably, the same applies to the main characteristics, so it can be expected that the battery capacity of the new Oppo will be 10,000 mAh, and it will have 8/128 GB of memory, but considering OnePlus's positioning as a more budget-friendly brand, the Oppo tablet may offer some improvements.
