Leak: Lenovo to Introduce Self-Charging Kit at CES 2026 — Keyboard and Mouse That Do Not Require Charging
According to leaks, Lenovo is preparing a major presentation at the international CES 2026 exhibition, which will be held from January 6 to 9 in Las Vegas. In addition to the unique laptops Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable with a display that expands sideways and Lenovo ThinkPad Rollable XD, whose screen "flows" onto the back panel, the company will also present two advanced peripheral devices.
What's Known
The portal Windows Latest reported that Lenovo is preparing to present the Self-Charging Kit — a keyboard and mouse that operate on solar power. Yes, these are not the first such devices, but the innovation is that the small built-in panels will need only 50 lux, with energy being generated even from artificial lighting. For comparison, a tiny solar panel in a calculator requires at least 200–500 lux.
Sources from Windows Latest shared a render showing the panel located on the keyboard above the arrow block.
Lenovo will position the Self-Charging Kit as universal and ecological devices that do not require charging at all.
