Logitech introduced the updated wireless mouse G304 X Lightspeed — now with a rechargeable battery instead of batteries and a polling rate of 1000 Hz
Logitech G introduced the wireless gaming mouse G304 X Lightspeed — an updated version of the popular models G304 and G305. The novelty retains the recognizable design but has received significant improvements, including a built-in battery, reduced weight, and advanced wireless technology.
What's known
The main change is the switch from AA batteries: now the mouse is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 290 mAh, which has reduced the device's weight to 57 grams and improved body balance. The manufacturer also redesigned the internal layout to achieve a more even weight distribution and improve control during quick movements.
Accuracy is ensured by the proprietary Hero 25K sensor with a sensitivity range from 100 to 25,000 DPI (with the ability to increase to 25,600 DPI via software update), a polling rate of 1000 Hz, tracking speed over 400 IPS, and acceleration resistance up to 40G. This makes the G304 X mouse an excellent model for eSports athletes and competitive gaming enthusiasts.
The mouse supports dual-mode connection: wireless via updated Lightspeed 2.4 GHz technology with reduced latency and increased interference resistance, as well as wired via USB-C, allowing you to continue playing while charging. The claimed battery life reaches 106 hours, and fast charging provides about 11 hours of operation after 10 minutes of powering.
Logitech positions the G304 X Lightspeed as a lightweight, reliable, and versatile gaming mouse without body perforation, aimed at users who value stable wireless connection, high battery life, and classic symmetrical shape.
Profiles are supported in Logitech G Hub, the mouse features Teflon feet and switches rated for 20 million clicks.
The model will be available in black, white, purple, and pink colors and is compatible with Windows 10 and macOS 12 and later.
