Oppo introduced the Pad Air 5 tablet, which has become the largest and most technologically advanced device in the budget model line.

What is known

Oppo Pad Air 5 is equipped with a 12.1” LCD display with an unusual aspect ratio of 7:5, a resolution of 2800×1980 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 900 nits. The screen is available in two versions — standard and Soft Light, which reduces reflections by up to 97% and reduces eye strain during prolonged use.

Performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, built on a 4-nm process technology and paired with Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. The tablet features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, making it one of the fastest in its class.

The main and front cameras have a resolution of 8 MP, and the body, with a thickness of 6.83 mm, weighs about 597–599 grams depending on the version (Wi-Fi or 5G). The device runs on ColorOS 16 and is targeted for educational and work scenarios, offering stylus support and enhanced multimedia features.

One of the key advantages is the 10,050 mAh battery with 33 W charging support, providing long battery life.

Oppo Pad Air 5 is already available in China in three colors: Space Gray, Starlight Powder, and Starlight Pink. The cost of the basic 8/128 GB configuration is $270 (converted from yuan).
