The rumor about the imminent global release of the latest Xiaomi 17 Ultra photo flagship has been fully confirmed. In China, the novelty was presented yesterday and aroused huge public interest, and shortly after that, it was officially confirmed that the smartphone will soon be available for purchase anywhere in the world.

What is known

The Vice President of Xiaomi Group Xu Fei announced that Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be released outside of China in 2026, but without a specific date yet. It can be assumed that the company will not delay the world release of the smartphone for too long, and a global presentation will take place in a couple of months.

Authoritative insider Kacper Skrzypek also shared his information, reporting that, as with most cases of Chinese smartphones, the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have a smaller capacity battery — 6000 mAh instead of 6800 mAh.

All details about the novelty can be found in our material, and here we will just remind you that the main feature of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the cameras — the model has received an updated Leica system that includes a 1” main Omnivision OV50X sensor with LOFIC technology, a 50 MP wide-angle camera, and a 200 MP Samsung HPE telephoto lens with a 1/1.4” optical format. The camera allows you to record videos in 4K at 120 FPS.
