Photos and Specifications of Volkswagen ID. Unyx 07 Developed with Xpeng Leaked
The first photos and specifications of the Volkswagen ID. Unyx 07 electric car, created by the joint venture of Volkswagen Anhui and Xpeng, have appeared in China.
What is known
ID. Unyx 07 is a mid-size electric sedan built on the China Electrical Architecture (CEA) platform. The car is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 170 kW (231 hp) and a battery with a capacity of 59.9 kWh. The declared range is 558 km.
Judging by the photos, the model is made in the characteristic style of the ID. family for the Chinese market. The front part received a closed panel, matrix headlights with a LED strip across the entire width of the body, and an illuminated Volkswagen logo. The bumper features darkened elements and an aggressive lower section design.
Vehicle dimensions: length — 4853 mm, width — 1852 mm, height — 1566 mm, wheelbase — 2826 mm. The side view resembles a fastback with flush door handles and a rising window line. The ID. Unyx 07 offers 19-inch and 20-inch wheels. At the rear, there’s a single light across the full width, an illuminated logo, a small spoiler, and a black diffuser.
The interior has not been shown yet but is expected to have a layout similar to the ID. Unyx 06, featuring a "floating" central screen, a projection display, and a panoramic roof.
The development of the ID. Unyx 07 was carried out by a Chinese team, and reportedly took about 18 months.
