Nothing continues to roll out the Nothing OS 4.0 shell based on Android 16. In November, the update reached the flagship smartphones of the British brand, and now the turn has come to budget models CMF — Nothing's sub-brand.
What is known
Owners of CMF Phone 1 and CMF Phone 2 Pro have already received the update and can evaluate the innovations, which include:
- updated design: redesigned lock clock, unified interface elements, and cleaner settings;
- Extra Dark Mode: even deeper dark theme for eye comfort and energy saving, especially on OLED displays;
- Pop-up View: support for two floating app icons for convenient multitasking mode;
- TrueLens Engine: enhanced camera and gallery with new presets and intuitive controls;
- AI control: transparent settings, status hints, and usage dashboard.
system stability, app launch speed, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi performance improved, and the lock screen has become more responsive.
