Alienware is preparing to release two powerful gaming laptops with anti-glare OLED screens and Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors
The Alienware brand, owned by Dell, has announced the upcoming release of powerful gaming laptops with OLED monitors.
What is known
The Alienware 16 Area-51 and 16X Aurora models will have an anti-glare coating that reduces reflection by 32%. Peak screen brightness will be 620 nits.
The displays will provide 120% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and some AI technology will protect the screen pixels from burn-in.
In a press release, Alienware reports that the new laptops will receive Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors, not the newer Core Ultra 300s, as the Panther Lake lineup does not have high-performance CPUs.
As for graphics cards, the Alienware 16 Area-51 and 16X Aurora will be equipped with GeForce RTX 50 series and probably offer several configuration options.
Gaming laptops from Alienware will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2026.
And towards the end of 2026, Alienware will release an ultrathin gaming laptop (17 mm) with screen diagonals of 14 and 16” and GeForce graphics cards, and these models will feature the latest Core Ultra 300 processors.
