Nissan GT-R turned into an SUV and can't be sold for a long time
Dutch car dealer Prins is trying to sell an unusual 2010 Nissan GT-R converted into an SUV. The car is priced at 99,500 euros — significantly more than regular GT-Rs of the same year.
The project was based on the Nissan GT-R R35, which was radically adapted for off-road use. The suspension was raised by 120 mm thanks to modified springs, and the standard wheels were fitted with high-profile tires. The body received wheel arch extensions and roof rails. Additional LED lights were installed on the bumper and roof. A full-size spare wheel is also mounted on top.
Modifications also affected the power unit. The 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine has been boosted to 600 hp, which is the level of the Nismo version. The Attesa ET-S all-wheel-drive system remains in factory configuration.
The car has a mileage of 54,237 km, having driven about 7,700 km since 2020. Initially, the body was covered with camouflage film, which was later removed.
According to AutoUncle, this GT-R was previously on sale with another dealer for over 1,000 days. The current ad has been active for 137 days, but the high price continues to deter potential buyers.
