LG G6 and W6 to feature Hyper Radiant panel: details of new arrivals revealed
Technical details about LG's flagship TVs have emerged online, set to appear in 2026. This refers to the LG OLED G6 and LG OLED W6 models. Both will use a new panel called Hyper Radiant in combination with the Brightness Booster Ultra technology.
What is known
According to a German source, the brightness of the new panel will be up to 3.9 times higher than the base B series indicators. A new anti-reflective coating is also expected, which should maintain deep blacks and contrast in bright rooms.
LG OLED G6 will have a Gallery Series format case, mounted closely to the wall. Diagonals from 48 to 97 inches. Inside, a new α11 AI processor will be responsible for image enhancement.
The model will support a 165 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision HDR for gaming, HDMI Auto Low Latency Mode, as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync. Support for AirPlay 2 and Google Cast is provided.
LG OLED W6 will receive the same specifications, but instead of standard inputs, it will use an external Zero Connect Box. It will transmit the signal wirelessly, with only the power cable connected to the display. The TV will be available in sizes of 77 and 83 inches.
