The fog over the Chernobyl NPP dissipates: the first teaser of the DLC for STALKER 2 is presented
The Ukrainian studio GSC Game World congratulated the loyal fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise on the upcoming new year and prepared a small gift for them — a teaser of the first DLC for Heart of Chornobyl.
What is known
The six-minute video is more atmospheric than informative — it shows a characteristic location of the Zone, and after the dense fog gradually dissipates, you can see the outlines of the Chernobyl NPP. This is likely a hint that the events of the expansion will unfold at this very site. Let us remind you, in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the station cannot be visited, although in the finale of one of the previous parts, such an opportunity was present.
The DLC will be released in 2026, however, besides it, as stated in the text message from GSC Game World, a large free update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is also being developed that will make the game even cooler and more technologically advanced.
