LG to Showcase New XBOOM Speakers with Artificial Intelligence at CES 2026
LG has announced a new line of portable XBOOM speakers, which will be presented at CES 2026. The models were developed in collaboration with will.i.am, who participated as an "experimental architect" responsible for the design, development, and brand marketing of the devices.
What is Known
All new models have built-in artificial intelligence algorithms. They analyze audio content and space and automatically adjust the equalizer. Some models also feature AI for lighting control that changes according to the music.
XBOOM Stage 501 is designed for parties and karaoke. The speaker can remove vocals from tracks and change the key. It has a power of up to 220 W, equipped with dual woofers and full-range speakers. The battery lasts up to 25 hours, and there is also a possibility to connect to the power network. The pentagonal shape of the case allows placement in different positions.
XBOOM Blast is a portable speaker with a 99 W battery providing up to 35 hours of autonomous operation. It has a side handle for carrying and protective bumpers.
XBOOM Mini is a compact model with a strap and tripod mount. The speaker provides up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge.
XBOOM Rock is a rock-shaped speaker designed for outdoor use. It has been tested to seven military standards and adapted for difficult conditions. It is an update to the previous XG2 model. The battery is also rated for 10 hours of operation.
The company does not disclose prices and the exact release date. All four models are planned for release during 2026. The new models can be seen at LG's booth during CES in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.
