Samsung introduces budget-friendly Galaxy A17 5G and Tab A11+: sales start in January
Samsung has announced two new budget devices that will go on sale in the US market in January 2026. The Galaxy A17 5G smartphone is priced at $200, with sales starting on January 7. The Galaxy Tab A11+ tablet will hit stores on January 8, priced at $250.
What is known
The Galaxy A17 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an Exynos 1330 chip, the same as the Galaxy A16 5G model. The main camera remains unchanged: 50 MP + 5 MP ultra-wide-angle + 2 MP macro. The front camera is 13 MP. The smartphone is available in a basic configuration of 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, but supports microSD up to 2 TB. The 5000 mAh battery supports fast charging.
The Galaxy Tab A11+ features an 11-inch LCD display, an 8 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front camera. It is available in 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB variants, with a microSD slot. The battery provides up to 15 hours of video playback and supports fast charging.
