Media: Samsung freezes the price of its flagships — the cost of the Galaxy S26 lineup will not differ from the 2025 models
Last week, reports emerged that Samsung was unable to decide on prices for the Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup, in no small part due to rising memory and storage costs.
The company did not comment on these rumors, but now a reputable source has reported what decision the management of the Korean giant has made.
What is known
Renowned insider Ice Universe, citing Korean media, stated that Samsung has decided to freeze prices — this means that the new smartphones will cost the same as the previous models. Moreover, this applies not only to the Galaxy S26 series but also to the foldable Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 smartphones.
Since the presentation of the new foldables is expected in mid-July 2026, it can be expected that for at least the next six months, Samsung will not increase the cost of its gadgets.
Recall that at the release, the 2025 models had the following price tags:
- Galaxy S25 — $799
- Galaxy S25+ — $999
- Galaxy S25 Ultra — $1,299
The presentation of the Galaxy S26 lineup is expected on February 25 in San Francisco (USA), with sales starting in March.
