Presented Clicks Communicator — another reincarnation of BlackBerry with a physical QWERTY keyboard and AMOLED screen
Clicks, previously known for its keyboard cases for smartphones, has unveiled its own gadget — Clicks Communicator, which is styled after the iconic BlackBerry and has the characteristic physical QWERTY keyboard.
What is known
The novelty runs on Android 16 and is positioned as an additional smartphone for work tasks, not for endless scrolling through the feed.
The Communicator features a 4.03” AMOLED display with a resolution of 1200×1080 pixels and almost square proportions. Under the screen is a full keyboard with tactile keys, a fingerprint scanner in the space bar, and a separate programmable Clicks Key (for example, for quickly opening a messenger or calling an AI assistant). On the side edge, there is a dedicated button for recording voice notes, and on the body, there is an LED notification indicator with the ability to customize it for different applications.
The smartphone is equipped with a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a 24 MP front camera. Inside is an unnamed 4-nm MediaTek chip, 256 GB of memory, and a 4000 mAh battery. The device supports a physical SIM or eSIM and also offers rare options for the modern market: a 3.5 mm audio jack, microSD up to 2 TB depending on the configuration, and a removable back cover (many color options will be offered).
Clicks targets an audience that uses a smartphone as a work tool. Niagara Launcher is pre-installed by default, focusing on quick access to Gmail, Telegram, WhatsApp, and the corporate Slack application, as well as a single Message Hub for all communications.
The manufacturer promises 2 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.
The price for Clicks Communicator is $499, and shipments will begin later in 2026. The device is available for pre-order with a $100 discount.
