Fender Audio, a new division of the legendary guitar manufacturer, has unveiled its first wireless earbuds, the Fender Mix, which boasts record-breaking battery life and a modular design.

What is known

The main feature of the Fender Mix is up to 100 hours of operation without active noise cancellation and 52 hours with ANC at 50% volume. This makes the model one of the longest-lasting on the market. In addition, the earbuds are equipped with a replaceable battery, which is rare for modern Bluetooth models and significantly extends the device's lifespan. When the Fender Mix runs out of charge, they can still be used by connecting via a 3.5mm audio cable.

The earbuds support fast charging: 15 minutes give about an hour of listening, and a full charge takes about two hours. Fender also focuses on modularity — users will be able to change individual body parts and customize the appearance.

The Fender Mix's deep sound is provided by two 40mm drivers. The earbuds connect via USB-C or Bluetooth 5.3 — with support for SBC and AAC codecs. Support is provided for lossless quality LHDC 96 kHz/24 bit, as well as wireless LC3 and Auracast modes with low latency.
