Undoubtedly, GTA VI is the most anticipated game not only of this year but also of the last decade. Moreover, analysts have no doubt that it will become the most successful and profitable entertainment product in media history, so the stakes are incredibly high.

Developers from Rockstar Games and publishers Take-Two strive to release the perfect game and have postponed its release twice already. Many fear that this will happen a third time, but the authoritative insider Tom Henderson is confident that this won't happen.

What is known

In a broadcast of the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, one of the most authoritative journalists in the gaming industry expressed confidence that Grand Theft Auto VI will definitely be released in November 2026 without any delays.

Henderson confirmed that the game is practically ready, and the authors are using the additional year exclusively to polish the criminal action game so that its technical condition is as close to perfect as possible.

Henderson's colleague Mike Straw added that Rockstar would want to use the announcement of GTA VI's readiness for release to distract the public's attention from a major scandal involving the dismissal of 31 employees, which is being investigated at the highest level—in the UK government.

In the same podcast, Henderson urged gamers not to believe the speculations about a $100 price tag for GTA VI, confidently stating that the standard edition will cost a maximum of $80.

When to expect

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to be released on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
