In just a few days, Motorola will present its new flagship called Signature, launching a premium line.

Previously, reputable insider Evan Blass Insider showed high-quality renders of Motorola's flagship, which will launch a new series of premium Signature smartphones, but now he has revealed all the details, making important features of the Motorola Signature known.

What is known

So, according to Evan Blass, the smartphone will have a top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Motorola Signature will come with pre-installed Android 16 and, for the first time in the brand's history, will receive seven years of system and security updates, making it one of the most long-lasting flagships on the market.

The device is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery supporting 90W wired TurboPower charging, 50W wireless and reverse charging — 10W wirelessly and 5W by cable. The manufacturer claims up to 41 hours of battery life, up to 28 hours of video playback, 18 hours of gaming, and up to six hours of 4K video recording.

The Motorola Signature will feature a 6.8” Extreme AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780×1264, a refresh rate up to 165Hz and LTPO. The panel supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Peak brightness reaches an impressive 6200 nits, and the touch layer operates at up to 360Hz and supports control with wet fingers.

The Motorola Signature will have four 50MP cameras (front, main with a Sony LYT-828 sensor, ultra-wide-angle, and periscope module with 3x zoom). Those who love quality video recording will be pleased to know that the smartphone supports 8K Dolby Vision video recording at 30 fps and 4K Dolby Vision up to 60 fps, as well as slow-motion shooting in 4K 120 fps.

The device's body is only 6.99mm thick and weighs 186g. The back panel is available in textured options imitating leather/fabric, the frame is made of aviation aluminum, and the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

According to another leak, the Signature will be Motorola's first flagship with stylus support.

The smartphone complies with IP69/IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards, making it one of the most protected flagships on the market. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bose tuning, Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, a triple set of microphones, ThinkShield, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in the screen, and dual SIM support.

The Motorola Signature looks like one of the company's most ambitious flagships in recent years and could significantly strengthen the brand's position in the premium segment.

The presentation of the Motorola Signature is expected on January 7 in India.
