At CES 2026, LG unveiled the new premium LG OLED evo W6 television, which, for the first time since 2017, revives the Wallpaper TV concept, once again emphasizing ultra-thin design.

What is known

The LG OLED evo W6 is designed to occupy minimal space and literally blend with the wall — its thickness is only 9 mm!

Like other flagship LG models of recent years, the W6 uses the Zero Connect Box — an external unit that wirelessly transmits image and sound to the panel, completely eliminating cables near the screen. At CES 2026, the TV is presented in two sizes — 77" and 83".

The TV features an updated OLED panel with LG's proprietary technologies:

  • Hyper Radiant Color Technology — enhanced color reproduction and brightness stability at an angle;
  • Brightness Booster Ultra — increased peak brightness values for HDR content.

These improvements make the W6 one of the brightest and most contrasting OLED TVs from LG. The manufacturer claims that the brightness of the LG OLED evo W6 is 3.9 times higher than other OLED panels.

The TV will interest gamers, as it supports a frame rate of up to 165 Hz at 4K resolution and supports Nvidia G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium smoothing technologies, with a response time of just 0.1 ms.

The LG OLED evo W6 operates on webOS: there is support for voice commands, as well as AI assistant integration and a range of AI features.

The W series is traditionally aimed at users who value both features and aesthetics equally. Thanks to its minimal thickness and lack of wires, the W6 can be used not only for viewing media content but also as a decorative panel or digital art canvas.

The cost and release date of the LG OLED evo W6 have not yet been specified.
