Unusual Robot Phone at CES 2026: Honor once again showcased an ambitious gadget with a robotic camera
Another interesting exhibit at the CES 2026 Consumer Electronics Show was the unusual Robot Phone smartphone from Honor, which Honor unveiled the Robot Phone — an unusual concept of the future smartphone with an autonomous robotic camera.
Let us remind you, the main feature of the Honor Robot Phone is a camera located on a small bracket, which hides inside the camera block when inactive, and when needed, it activates, monitors the surroundings, and shoots when the user desires.
What is known
At the CES exhibition, Honor placed several Robot Phone models that can be viewed but not touched.
The company still does not disclose the technical specifications of the ambitious gadget, but judging by the photos and videos from the exhibition, the Robot Phone is far from ultra-thin status — its body is quite massive and clearly thicker than most modern mass-market smartphones. Although, with such a concept, it would be strange to expect compactness from it.
As noted by The Verge, Honor is confident in the functionality of the Robot Phone and assures that it will definitely go on sale (but initially only in China) shortly after the full presentation.
Honor will officially present the Robot Phone during the MWC 2026 exhibition, which will be held from March 2-5 in Barcelona.
