At CES 2026, Samsung unveiled the world's first consumer 130” Micro RGB TV with full BT.2020 color gamut
At CES 2026, Samsung introduced the R95H — the world's first consumer TV with a 130-inch screen, built on Micro RGB technology, showcasing Samsung's new approach to color reproduction, design, and AI image processing.
What is known
Unlike traditional LED panels, Micro RGB uses separate red, green, and blue micro LEDs that generate color directly — without white backlighting and color filters. This provides 100% BT.2020 color gamut coverage, more accurate brightness and color control, and improves image uniformity across the entire screen area.
The TV uses the most advanced image processing algorithms:
- Micro RGB AI Engine Pro,
- Micro RGB Color Booster Pro,
- Micro RGB HDR Pro.
The algorithms analyze the image in real-time, increase contrast, enhance dull scenes, and improve detail in light and dark areas of the frame.
The R95H supports HDR10+ Advanced and the new Samsung Vision AI Companion system for intelligent image adjustment, and is equipped with Samsung Glare Free technology, which reduces reflections and maintains contrast even in bright room lighting.
Samsung, as always, pays great attention to design, and the R95H features the Timeless Frame inspired by architectural forms — the screen visually “floats” in the air, with speakers built directly into the frame and tuned to the size of the 130” panel.
The price and release dates for the Samsung Micro RGB R95H TV are not yet disclosed.
