Monster of autonomy with iPhone 17 Pro Max design: Honor Power2 smartphone presented with 10,080 mAh battery and attractive price
The Honor Power2 presentation took place—a smartphone that has been the subject of many rumors lately due to its record-breaking battery capacity among mass-produced smartphones and its obvious visual resemblance to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
What's known
The smartphone features a 6.79” AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1800 nits.
The 4th generation Qinghai Lake battery with a capacity of 10,080 mAh provides more than 20 hours of continuous operation and up to 26 hours of video playback. The smartphone supports 80W fast charging, as well as 27W reverse charging, allowing Power2 to be used as a power bank. At the same time, the device remains relatively compact, with a body thickness of 8 mm and a weight of 216 g.
Honor Power2 became the first smartphone on the new Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, which delivers high performance as confirmed by over 2.4 million points in AnTuTu tests. The gadget features 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The main camera includes a 50 MP module with optical stabilization and a 5 MP ultra-wide sensor, while the front camera is 16 MP.
Honor has paid special attention to reliability: Power2 received IP66 / IP68 / IP69 / IP69K standard protection, meaning resistance to dust, submersion in water, and exposure to high-temperature jets under pressure—rare for mid-budget smartphones.
Sales of Honor Power2 will start on January 9, 2026, in China at a price of $385 for the 12/256GB version and $430 for the 12/512GB version. Customers can choose from black, orange, and pearl white body colors.
The company has not yet announced an international release.
