After an unsuccessful rebranding in 2025, Dell decided to bring back the XPS line of laptops. During the CES 2026 exhibition, the XPS 14 and XPS 16 models were introduced with an updated design, modern processors, and enhanced functionality.

What is known

In 2025, Dell discontinued the use of the XPS brand and implemented a simplified naming scheme. Now the company is bringing back a recognizable name. The XPS logo has appeared on the new laptops instead of the Dell inscription.

In the XPS 14 and XPS 16 models, the company abandoned the touch row of function keys and brought back classic buttons. The touchpad remains integrated into the body. Both laptops became lighter: the XPS 14 weighs approximately 1.36 kg, and the XPS 16 about 1.65 kg.

Inside are Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Panther Lake architecture. Configurations with OLED displays are also available. Starting price — XPS 14 from $2050, and XPS 16 from $2200.

The company also announced plans to bring back the XPS 13 model later this year. According to Dell representatives, it will be the thinnest and lightest laptop in the series, with a lower starting price than previous generations.
