Sony changed its mind to end support for PS Store on older platforms

About a month ago, Sony announced the end of support for PS Store for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, but today they changed their mind. The store will remain available on older platforms for the near future.

Why did they change their mind?

“After some thought, it became clear that we made the wrong decision,” says Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. “So I'm delighted to announce that we will continue to support of PS3 and PS Vita.”
