Chinese company Dreame, known for producing household electronics and vacuum cleaners, unveiled an electric car under the new brand Kosmera at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The model is named Kosmera Nebula 1 and is the company's first publicly displayed electric car.

What is known

Nebula 1 is a low four-door car with sporty proportions. Despite early teasers and renders, the design of the serial concept does not copy specific models from other manufacturers. The car features a streamlined body, carbon aerodynamic kit, and a spoiler on the trunk lid.

The electric car is equipped with a powertrain with four electric motors totaling 1,874 hp (1,399 kW). Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 1.8 seconds. In these parameters, the model is comparable to other high-performance electric cars from Chinese brands, including the BYD Yangwang U9 and Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

Kosmera Nebula 1 currently remains a concept and does not have an interior. According to company management, production of the model is planned to start as early as 2026. Final specifications and configurations will be determined closer to the start of mass production.

In addition to the Nebula 1, Dreame/Kosmera showcased two more four-door vehicles at CES. One of them may represent an alternative version of the Nebula 1. The other differs in front proportions and has two hatches for refueling or charging, which may indicate the use of a plug-in hybrid powertrain with an internal combustion engine at the front.
