Razer showed its AI-powered headset at CES 2026: Project Motoko sees what the user sees
At CES 2026, Razer presented Project Motoko — a conceptual headset with built-in cameras and intelligent features. The device is described as "AI-native" and is positioned as a platform that combines gaming, lifestyle, and productivity.
What is known
Two eye-level cameras recreate the user's perspective, allowing the headset to recognize objects and text in real-time. Thanks to this, the device can translate street signs, count repetitions of exercises in the gym, or summarize documents.
Project Motoko also features a combination of near-field and far-field microphones that capture voice commands and dialogues within view. The headset acts as an AI assistant, responding to events and adapting to the user's schedule, habits, and preferences.
According to Razer, Project Motoko supports integration with Grok, ChatGPT, and Gemini. This is currently just a concept model, which the company calls a look into the future of AI-powered wearables.
