Casio is preparing a global release of a watch dedicated to Honda's first victory in Formula 1
Casio has confirmed the global release of the Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300HR-1A model, created in collaboration with Honda. The release is timed to the 60th anniversary of the RA272 car's victory at the Mexico 1965 Grand Prix.
What is known
The watch has a case and leather strap in Championship White, like the car. Red elements are placed on the black dial, and the bezel features a gold-colored 60 mark. The inside of the strap is printed with an engine blueprint, and the phrase Veni, Vidi, Vici is engraved on the metal holder.
The model supports Bluetooth connection with a smartphone. Features include: world time (38 time zones), countdown timer, alarms, stopwatch, and the ability to exchange data with the Casio app. The watch also has Tough Solar solar charging and is water-resistant up to 100m.
The special series ECB-2300HR-1A was first introduced in October 2025. In Japan, its release is scheduled for March 2026 at a price of ¥66,000 (~$421). The international Casio website lists the tentative launch date as February 2026. Exact prices and markets are yet to be disclosed.
